Physiotherapy of child with diagnosis of pes equinovarus and skeletal dysplasia
Beranová, Pavlína ; Bartlová, Petra (advisor) ; Žiaková, Elena (referee)
This work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, information on congenital developmental defects of the locomotor apparatus is processed, especially the characteristics of the two diseases of the subject - Pes equinovarus congenitus and skeletal dysplasia. An important chapter is the detailed description of Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia. It is a rare disease that is difficult to diagnose and awareness about it is very low. The practical part is processed in the form of a case study of a child with given diagnoses. It is built on the basis of the method and procedure of physiotherapy, which is appropriate for the age of the subject. It consists of common simple exercises, typical for children of her age, which she can easily remember. The thesis contains an entrance and exit examination, a description of individual exercises and a record of the progress of individual therapeutic units. In the conclusion, the results of the work and the confirmation of individual hypotheses are evaluated. Since one of the assumptions of my work was the rare occurrence of multiple musculoskeletal disorders at the same time, the practical part also includes a questionnaire that maps the occurrence and characteristics of movement disorders among members of the Achilleus...
A case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after knee arthroscopy
Fialová, Lenka ; Kočí, Gabriela (advisor) ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (referee)
Author: Lenka Fialová Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after knee arthroscopy Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide comprehensive information about knee joint their injuries, examinations, treatment and rehabilitation procedure. The aim is also to document the physiotherapy care of the patient after knee atroscopy for anterior cruciate ligament lesion, cartilage defect and plica syndrome. Methods: In the general part of the thesis I summarize the theoretical knowledge concerning the knee joint, including anatomy and biomechanics, mechanism of injury and treatment of some injuries of this joint. Furthermore, I focus on the possibilities of clinical examination and subsequent rehabilitation. In a special part of the thesis I present a case report of a patient after ASK of the knee joint with cartilage and ACL lesion, and plica syndrome. This section contains a description of 8 therapeutic units including initial and output kinesiological analysis. All literature used is listed at the end of this paper. Results: In the general section, information regarding the knee joint was summarized. The types of soft tissue injuries, their examination and treatment, especially the arthroscopic approach, and possible rehabilitation procedures were discussed in detail....
A Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment Concerning a Patient after Transfemoral Amputation
Lhota, Lukáš ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Nový, Filip (referee)
Author: Lukáš Lhota Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Novotná Title: A case study of physiotherapy treatment concerning a patient after transfemoral amputation Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate the theoretical knowledge of lower limb amputations. Furthermore, I will present a case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of unilateral transfemoral amputation and evaluate the effect of therapy with subsequent discussion. Methods: The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and special parts. The theoretical part is a research elaboration of kinesiological background and theoretical knowledge regarding lower limb amputations with a focus on the subsequent rehabilitation, especially its physiotherapeutic part. In the special part, a case report of a patient after transfemoral amputation, which was prepared in the Regional Hospital Kladno, is presented. The case report contains the patient's history and initial kinesiological analysis on the basis of which short-term and long-term goals were developed. It also contains a record of individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiological analysis, the effect of therapy and a subsequent discussion. Results: During the physiotherapeutic intervention, stump flexion was reduced, breathing waveform improved, lower limb,...

Záhorová, Lucie ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Novotná, Irena (referee)
Author: Lucie Záhorová Supervisor: Mgr. Svatava Neuwirthová Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of Patient after total hip arthroplasty Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total hip arthroplasty, evaluation of the effect of therapy and theoretical treatment of this diagnosis. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of a general part, which uses the literature to discuss the topic of total hip arthroplasty, and a special part, which contains a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. The special part includes a comprehensive initial kinesiological examination, description of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiological examination and an evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: The final kinesiological examination confirmed that the therapies had a positive effect on the patient's health. The greatest improvement is seen in the increase in muscle strength in the right hip joint and the increase in range of motion. Another improvement is the reduction of swelling and the effect on the shortened muscles. These results prove that the therapies were effective. Conclusion: During the rehabilitation program, which lasted two weeks, the patient attended a total of eight therapies. At the end, an outcome...

Another goal is to process basic theoretical knowledge about anatomy, amputations and prosthetics of the lower limbs with a focus on transtibial prostheses. Methods: The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part summarizes basic knowledge regarding anatomy, amputations and transtibial prosthetics of the lower limbs. The practical part contains a case study of a diabetic patient with the diagnosis of lower leg amputation, which consists of a description of their medical history, measurement taking and the process of manufacturing a prosthetic device. Results: The case report was prepared as part of my professional training at Protetika s.r.o. The result of the work is the creation of a new prosthetic device that will help the patient in his daily life and improve it. Keywords: amputation, prosthesis, transtibial, case report
